Wisdom Wednesday

Proverbs 4:20

My son, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings.

Be so mindful, be attentive, meditate, think about the things of God not just in the morning at night think about it all the time. God gives us this reminder often in the bible to listen and it is almost like reading the rule book or reading the syllabus when you start the school year reading like oh, what is the course outline about, what exactly am I doing.

It is not a one time fill up. Reading God's word and especially seeking His wisdom is not a one time fill up, it is something we should be purposefully seeking everyday. It should be of great importance to us and pay attention to it in a way that we would listen to our mother/father when we were a child. Listening and looking at them in awe like my mom/dad said you have to do this and that is the same way we should be looking at wisdom and seeking it to learn from Solomon who was blessed by God as the wisest man to ever live on this earth.

But not just that, after we get into learning from God's word be super mindful of what we put our hearts and minds on, the things that we do, music we listen to, movies we watch and places we hang out. Are you honoring God's word as you do it?
